About Linnea

If you ever asked me what I wanted to be growing up, the answer was always plain and simple. I’ve always known I wanted to be an interior designer. But life had other plans for me before I got here — and those rich experiences have helped mold me into who I am today, all in due time.

It all started over 10+ years ago, working in the wild world of Public Relations with big names like Gap Inc., Joe Fresh, Jillian Harris, reputable home show clients and interior designers alike. And although I loved working in the industry, nailing event after event, something told me that the interior designer in me was still being ignored.

In 2019, I took the plunge and decided to go back to school for Interior Design at BCIT. Since then, I've been fully immersed in Vancouver’s design industry, with a key focus on furniture sourcing, styling, designing showroom vignettes and curating clients' spaces one by one. The funny thing is - furniture has been in my blood for generations — my Grandfather started his career by importing Swedish and Danish home goods to Canada. That spirit has stuck with me since I was young, and that vintage Scandinavian element shines through in my work today.

At LC Design Collective, I believe a home should be a place that inspires you daily, that comforts you when you have nowhere else to be, and nothing else to do. You should love being at home, and I’d absolutely love to help you get there.
